The Nationally Determined Contributions include commitments made by countries to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate impacts, with quantitative or qualitative objectives, deadlines and a set of actions in sectors priority areas, such as energy, transport, agriculture, health, water, infrastructure, tourism and much more. They also include commitments made to secure sufficient funding to support these efforts. These are short to medium term plans and must be updated every five years with increasing ambition.
