The representative of the International Labour Organization (ILO), Dinastela Curado, stated that it is “very important” that Cabo Verde reflect on the future of work.

“It is important to reflect on the future of work, taking into account situations such as the problem of inequalities, unemployment, the growth of poverty, the informal economy and the gap that exists between the economy and the insertion of young people in the job market”, said the ILO representative.

Speaking to Inforpress on the sidelines of a forum promoted by the Jean Piaget University of Cabo Verde on inclusion, Dinastela Curado explained that the organization she represents joined the higher education institution’s initiative because it is “completely aligned” with the celebrations of the centenary of ILO, which is about the future of work.
