The Government of Cape Verde through the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Energy is launching the procedure for requesting expressions of interest from specialized companies for the Repowering of the Palmarejo Photovoltaic Plant.

The aim is to increase the plant’s current installed capacity from 4.4 MWp to 10 MWp by systematically and fully replacing the existing solar panels with more modern and efficient models.

This project will be financed by the Climate and Environment Fund, under the Debt for Investment Agreement signed between Cape Verde and Portugal in June last year.
