Prime Minister of Cabo Verde welcomes “historic agreement” with “very strong impacts”

Considering that the impacts of the agreement will be “very strong”, the Cape Verdean Prime Minister understood that the global solution is only achievable with the “firm commitment” of all countries in the world.

The Cape Verdean Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, this Wednesday classified the agreement reached at COP28 to abandon fossil fuels as “historic” and considered that it will have “very strong impacts”.

“The historic agreement to abandon fossil fuels and accelerate climate action reached during COP28 in Dubai deserves applause”, asked the Head of the Cape Verdean Government, in an intervention in Parliament.
